Signs Before the Hour
Times like these tend to bring up assumptions pertaining to the nearness of the Day of Judgement and start debates about the manifestations of its signs. They tend to put the Ummah on edge and we often forget that the sunnah of the Prophet SAW was to stay optimistic even if we were to hear the tune of the trumpet. He encouraged us to continue to plant our crops while staying conscious of the final hour so that we can abstain from contributing to the evil of the last days. Many of the present circumstances have caused us to contemplate the realities of the final day and created questions that many do not know the answers to. Learning the signs of the Day of Judgement is a means of equipping ourselves with sound education to aid in our navigation through the conundrums of our era.
